Spicy Garlic Tofu

Thanks to the air fryer I’m not avoiding frying tofu anymore, so I’m free to experiment with what I can do with fried tofu. At a local restaurant recently my boyfriend had a spicy garlic tofu that he wouldn’t stop talking about. I tried a bite and it was indeed tasty – spicy sweet with nice crunch from the fried tofu – but nothing that seemed too complicated. So I decided to try to make something similar at home. The bf took one bite and said “Oh wow, this is better than that restaurant tofu”, so I guess that means I’ll be adding this guessipe to the rotation.

Guessipe

  • 1 TBSP sambal oolek
  • 2 TBSP maple syrup
