This year was the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Olympics is a competition all about bringing people from around the world together. And what better way to bring people together and celebrate diverse cultures than through the window of food? So we had a party to watch the opening ceremony, and everyone brought food from a different country.
Representing Korea: Kimchee Fried Rice

Also from Korea: Butter Mandu (my first time having dumplings with butter folded into the filling!)

Representing Mexico: Enchiladas

Representing Vietnam: Spring Rolls (check out my Guessipe)

Representing China: Potstickers

Also from China: Chinese Chicken Salad

Representing Cuba: Mini Midnight Sandwiches

Also from Cuba: Tres Leches Cake

Representing Poland: Strawberry Pierogi (I’ve never had sweet pierogi before, only savory!)

Such a fun way to celebrate the spirit of the Olympics. I’d like to eat my way around the world, and this was one way to do it!
